Understanding Autism and Strengths
Module 1 seeks to help you understand Autism, not from a diagnostic viewpoint but more from an experiential position. We try and explain the seesaw and how it can be used as a valuable compensation tool.
The final part of this module looks at the strengths and special interests that many autistic students may develop. We look at how we can use these strengths and interests to strengthen their inclusion, independence and learning.
